Using the 4.3.0 Linux appimage, I can get artifacts in a simular situation and I believe they are associated with the 'speech bubble' surround, because they don't happen with text alone. They do not happen with the Aug 25th 4.4.0 alpha appimage. Can you try the latest Stable Windows build to see if it still happens? https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Stable_Windows_Build/
