SUMMARY: Linux is Endeavour OS (Arch based). Neither PC nor Mobile can see each other. Tried deleting .config/kdeconnect; rebooted to reconstruct config, shows PC hostname in new config. Android mobile still does not see PC on same wi-fi network. No firewalls are installed.

Have you also checked your Wi-Fi router and make sure your router's firewall is disabled?

Solved, this morning.

In Android KDEConnect app; Trusted Networks setting de-selected "All";
replaced with name of shared wi-fi network and connection is established.
