Can you please go to Help -> Show Krita log for bug reports, click "Save to file", and then attach it here to the bug report?
Comment 2 Eoin O'Neill 2020-08-22 21:18:05 UTC
Hi Vapreonqueen,

This is probably related to a bug that is in 4.3 and is already solved in the upcoming latest version.

Please try one of these two things and see if it fixes your solution:
1) Please try Krita Plus and see if the issue still occurs on that build.
2) Try turning off Graphics Acceleration and see if the problem continues to occur.

If the problem still occurs after doing one of the above changes, please do as Tymond suggested above.

I apologize for a lack of response, I've tried to get the report log but for me there is no, "save to file' button. And there is an issue for me when I do open the log, it will occasionally crash making it hard to try to just get a screenshot of it.

Are you sure you're on 4.3.0? Because if you go to Help -> Show Krita log for bug reports... in Krita 4.3.0 there should be three buttons: "OK", "Save to file", "Copy to clipboard".

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.
Comment 7 Tiar 2020-09-08 13:04:55 UTC
Please make sure you try those two things:
- turn Canvas Graphics Acceleration in Configure Krita -> Display on and restart Krita. It shouldn't crash any more.
- download Krita Plus from the website. It shouldn't crash either, even with CGA off.

If any of those facts are not true in your case, please change the bug report status to "Reported" or "Reopened", we will investigate further. (But I'm pretty sure that's the case).
