SUMMARY
I'm running KDE Neon 20.04
Everything worked great until today where I ran apt dist-upgrade.
After rebooting there were no longer any sound and I can select SPDIF only.

If I try to configure audio device I can only see the digital device

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Run older KDE neon
2. Upgrade to the lates
3. Klick on KMixer

OBSERVED RESULT
Only digital ouput is visible

EXPECTED RESULT
Both digital and analog should be visibal/configurable

Linux/KDE Plasma:

KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Executing alsamixer allows me to select the 2. audio device

Are you sure you are using kmix, and not plasma-pa? If unsure, please ask in a forum of your distribution.

Moved to plasma-pa since, this of course is not kmix

Still an issue, also after reinstalling.

I just installed Manjaro, due to the other bug I filed: 427498
I had no issue with audio devices there.
I then reinstalled KDE and the problem reappeared, so it is definitely linked to something in KDE neon.

Attaching my USB sound devices works fine, it is just the internal speaker, which I depend on a lot, that is not working

Do the devices appear in pavucontrol or pavucontrol-qt?
