SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Launch Latte Dock at OS start 2. Use system as normal OBSERVED RESULT At seemingly random intervals of minutes or hours, Latte Dock will eventually stop auto-hiding and will stay present above all windows (except fullscreen applications) until the OS is rebooted. During this time, the rest of Latte Dock's functionality seems to remain intact. EXPECTED RESULT Latte Dock should continue to auto-hide itself indefinitely. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE (5.7.14-1-MANJARO) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION N/A
no steps to reproduce... I don't have such behavior in my system
I can confirm this bug. There are multiple events that can trigger this incorrect behavior. I can reproduce this 100% e.g. like this: 1. Open Dolphin. (If you try move to the dock area, the dock will hide) 2. Open a video in mpv. (Again, the window and dock will behave correctly) 3. Switch the video to full-screen mode (e.g. by pressing the 'f' key) 4. Use the task switcher (alt-Tab) to switch to Dolphin while the video is still running in full-screen. What will happen: Latte Dock will appear with the Dolphin window. It will disappear again if you switch to the full-screen video. But once you quit mpv (or the video ends), the dock will stay on screen no matter what you do with that Dolphin window - or any other for that matter. One exception: run an app in full-screen mode (again). Workaround: kill latte-dock, run latte-dock.

I cant reproduce this with your layout file. 1. Are you using Latte git version? 2. How did you install Latte git version? 3. What is the last commit of your Latte git version?
1. Are you using Latte git version? I'm using latte-dock-git r4166.1dcf799d-1 2. How did you install Latte git version? I did install the package from Manjaro community repos. It's obvious at this point that the real problem is the misleading name of the package in the community repos. The package was built in May, the version is obviously behind the AUR, which is also behind the actual GitLab master. I'm going to build the package from actual master and let you know right away.
I can confirm now, that everything seems to be working OK with the latest build.
