Description samcaspar 2020-08-20 12:54:09 UTC
SUMMARY
With multiple Labplot2 CAS worksheet backends installed (Maxima, Lau, Python2), there is no CAS worksheet button in the menu. Compared with a version on windows 7 & the snap package (Labplot 2.6 c.f. Labplot 2.7 on Neon), which did not have CAS backends installed, but did show the CAS worksheet button, albeit grayed out.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. pkcon install labplot2 {i.e. install from KDE Neon packages}

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Neon 5.19
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am aware there is a similar issue here, but that one seems to be largely about flatpack?
Happy to wait til 2.8 :)

Can you please test the build provided by Jonathat?

Sure, happy to.

I have no idea what anything on that link means though. Do I need to grab a specific branch of the source?

It's not yet in the archive because the QA failed on another package, it should be in the archive in the next hour
