SUMMARY
when i load up the program it is fine until i try to draw. it begins to flash very fast, going from black to the normal screen, i cannot use it at all

Hi Lidia, sorry you've been having trouble with Krita.

In order for us to figure out what's going wrong, it would help if you could give us more information about your computer, including your operating system (Windows, MacOSX, Linux), as well as what version of Krita you're running. (If you aren't sure, you can find out this information with the `Help > Report Bug` option on the top bar.)

If you're on Windows something that you also may want to try is switching to the "ANGLE" renderer. You can do this by going to `Settings > Configure Krita > Display > Canvas Acceleration > Preferred Renderer`, setting it to "ANGLE" and restarting Krita.

Please let us know if setting your renderer to ANGLE doesn't fix the problem or if you need more help.
