Description Paulo Eduardo Neves 2002-05-13 20:33:39 UTC
(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcmkwinoptions
Version: KDE 3.0.0 -10
Severity: normal
Installed from: Red Hat Linux 7.2.93
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-3
OS/Compiler notes:

In Window behavior actions tab if in the "Inactive inner window" group I select "Activate and raise" for the right button the Operations Menu doesn't appear even when the windows are active. If it is marked as "activate raise and pass click" everything works fine.

The correct behaviour should be to always pass the click when the windows are active.

If you need more info about my configuration please contact me.

Please elaborate. When right clicking on the inner of an inactive window
there shouldn't be any OperationsMenu that should appear no matter what
action you choose to associate. The Operations menu can appear (can be
associated) only when clicking on the titlebar and frame of a window.

Well if the action doesn't say "... pass click" then of course shouldn't pass
the click.

Your kwinrc could help me but mostly I need a more elaborate explanation.

Thanks

Ops! Excuse me I wanted to say CONTEXT menu the menu that appears when
you right click inside an active window. If you turn off the "pass
click" option when you right click in an *inactive* window the context
menu doesn't appear even when the window is active.

Please tell me if you need any other info.
