SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Select all pictures in a folder and add them to the light table 2. Select a picture from another folder add it to the light table and go there OBSERVED RESULT Old and new pictures mix in light table, that's messy and weird EXPECTED RESULT Digicam should prefer to show pictures of the current folder, always, no matter if I "add" then to the light table. The concept of clicking and adding pictures to the light table by itself is superfluous and unintuitive, if the light table content is always the current folder, we have a much more straightforward and normal workflow. Exceptions should be added as preferences. Let's keep things simple yet configurable. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS macOS: 10.14.6
The function is intended. Why should I only compare images from one album? We have virtual albums where the images can come from all kinds of albums. Maik
Jo, Exactly. As Maik said, LightTable thumbbar is a pull of image to compare side by side. All image come from where you want not only from current album. Best Gilles Caulier
Yes, I agree, why we shouldn't be able to compare pictures from different paths, I'm sure this can be useful Still, I'd prefer a simpler and more straightforward approach, to see my organized pictures automatically in light table without the need to add them to the light table. In case of need I could add more pictures by using your feature. I think this request is very doable. I missed to add my report to the wish list, but I see you did it already,
There is an option in the setup that, if activated, clears the light table on exit. This ensures that you do not mix images from other albums. You can import your album onto the light table with CTRL + A and CTRL + L (for CTRL the corresponding key under MacOS) that is really fast. Maik
