Created attachment 130748 [details] sceenshot with glitch SUMMARY Sometime when I click 'Take a New Screnshot' then in captured part of screen I get big glitch on top (check attached screenshot for details). In Spectactle I have following settings: Capture mode: "Rectangular Region" Delay: "2 seconds" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use any style from kvantum as 'Application style' 1. Start Spectacle and set following options: Capture mode: "Rectangular Region" Delay: "2 seconds" 2. Click 'Take New Screenshot' OBSERVED RESULT Big glitch on top of captured screen. EXPECTED RESULT No any glitch on top of captured screen. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: YES (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73 Qt Version: 5.15.0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I use kvantum as 'Application style'. I work in X11 session ("The xcb windowing system").

I noticed that described issue happens in case of first two tries of making screen shot. Third time all is fine with captured picture. I replicated issue twice.
What kind of GPU hardware do you have? Can you reproduce this in Spectacle 21.12? Does it happen on Wayland too, or only X11?

I will test it more and alternatively reopen this ticket.
