SUMMARY When trying to send from Debian10/KDE to Android with KDE Connect files sometimes get stuck so the download bar in the Android doesn't move anymore even though it's still connected. Furthermore, sometimes files are displayed as being sent even though they were apparently aborted and are of 0B. Additionally, this sometimes also appears to occur for files which have been sent (not aborted). I'm relatively sure I also once had a case of a file not being openable on the encrypted SD card but openable later on. These might be separate issues. Is there a log that can help find out what's causing these problems? If not adding such to the Android app and/or the GNU/Linux app would be a issue (feature-request). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Try to send many large files from Debian10/KDE to Android OBSERVED RESULT See details above. EXPECTED RESULT All files should transfer completely successfully. And if they aren't this should be displayed in the notification on Android. Furthermore, there should be a log that helps to find out problems. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian10/5.14.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.11.3
For the first problem: The Android app displayed that it has no connection while the GNU/Linux app still displayed that it's paired and the "Unpair"-button. The notifications for ongoing file-transmissions with a frozen download-bar are still there even after connecting anew from the Android app. When sending the same files again after establishing the connection again there are additional notifications.
The notifications (see comment above) are still displayed after unpairing from the Android app. Pressing "abort" in the notifications doesn't remove them. I don't know how to make them disappear (except e.g. restarting the device).
