SUMMARY
openSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Global theme: Dark Breeze
2. In Kate, select Settings > Color Theme either Default or Breeze Dark.
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
Only the windows frame changes. The text are remains black text on a black background, which is not readable.

Even when a Light theme is chosen, the text area doesn't change at all.

EXPECTED RESULT
The text color to be light.

This is fixed by the theming rewrite for Frameworks 5.75.

The colors should now be adapt a bit better, in no case such bad things shall happen. (as no bundled theme has such bad colors set)
