Description John Tyler Blair 2020-08-04 20:15:09 UTC
SUMMARY
I am using an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I utilize sidecar with my Mac mini, and use my iPad as a graphics tablet. when I was using Arita and safari at the same time (displays are not mirrored), I somehow saw that the Apple Pencil is off sync with the canvas. if I try to dray in the center nothing happens; but if I try to draw downward, the line that the pencil was supposed to create ends up on the top of the canvas. I've seen this happen before but this is the first time I'm reporting this as a bug.

Sorry, but we cannot do anything about that. Our two macs are too old to work with sidecar, and right now is the wrong time to buy a new mac because any current mac is already obsolete. We'll have to wait until the arm macs are out (and hope they'll still work with our first generation ipad pro).

And apart from that, we don't have any krita-specific code for tablet support on macOS: that's all in the OS, so even with the right hardware, we probably wouldn't be able to figure out what's going wrong.
