Description Thomas Carmichael 2020-08-04 06:27:25 UTC
SUMMARY
The behaviour for opening new tabs by using the middle-click or right-clicking and choosing "Open in New Tab" currently puts the new tab after the current tab. It would be good if this behaviour was configurable to allow the option to have tabs after the current tab or after all tabs.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE neon 5.19
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.72.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The original bug report (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403690) also noted that the default behaviour for Nautilus was to put tabs after the current tab, though this is also configurable via gsettings against 'org.gnome.nautilus.preferences tabs-open-position', which can be set to 'end'.

Probably not specific to Dolphin. Other applications (e.g. Okular) could follow a common setting.
Comment 2 Thomas Carmichael 2021-12-10 13:45:39 UTC
This was fixed by a commit which landed in Dolphin 21.04.0.
