SUMMARY

Notifications from the IFTTT app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ifttt.ifttt) are not synced

I am on Fedora and using the GSConnect application, a GNOME implementation of KDEConnect. Other notifications from GMail and WhatsApp are correctly synced.
I already filed bug reports at the GSConnect repo, but based on the logs they think that the issue is the the notifications are not forwarded from the Android side. Another user is also facing issues with the MS Outlook Android app as well.

IFTTT Bug: https://github.com/andyholmes/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect/issues/898
Outlook Bug: https://github.com/andyholmes/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect/issues/902

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up any reminder notification on the IFTTT app to send a notification (rich or normal)
2. Wait for the notification

OBSERVED RESULT

The reminder appears on Android but is not synced to the desktop.

EXPECTED RESULT

The reminder appears on Android but is synced to the desktop.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 svjmtn 2020-08-07 07:11:19 UTC
The people at GSConnect have figured out the issue. You can read about it here, https://github.com/andyholmes/gnome-shell-extension-gsconnect/issues/898#issuecomment-670329286

The IFTTT app sets certain notification flag, in this case the LOCAL_ONLY flag, and KDEConnect doesn't sync these kind of notifications to other apps. They have also suggested possible fixes.

Confirmed the Outlook issue, I have notifications on my phone but they are not listed in KDEConnect and they don't provide a popup.
