STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn on panel Auto-hiding 
2. Let it hide
3. Crash should occur almost immediately

PS:
the crash occurs when trying to show the hidden panel by moving cursor to the screen edge

The NEEDSINFO status is used to request information from the reporter, not from developers; changing status.

This was a regression after a big split of XdgShellClient. It's fixed in 5.20.0.
