Description William Kendrick 2020-07-26 16:36:19 UTC
SUMMARY
KDE settings dialogs

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Activated Krunner ([Alt]+[F2])
2. Type "USB"
3. Select "System Settings | USB Devices"
4. A small "USB Devices - System Settings Module" window will appear
5. Resize it
6. Minimize it (e.g, "[down arrow]" icon in the window's title bar)
7. Restore it (e.g., click it in the Task Manager)

OBSERVED RESULT
The window reappears, and immediately resizes itself to its original (in my opinion, much too small to be usable) size.

EXPECTED RESULT
The window reappears, and remains the size it was when minimized (step 6, above).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8

Fixed in Plasma 5.19 where these KCMs open in System Settings rather than a tiny standalone window.
