Description Jemma 2020-07-25 14:18:17 UTC
SUMMARY
All brushes have randomly stopped tapering off. I have tried editing the brushes to get them to taper off again but nothing works. I have even downloaded new brush packs to try and combat the lack of tapering brushes and still nothing works. All brushes end in a square or circular shape now.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

3.

OBSERVED RESULT
When pressure is removed lines stop either circularly or squarely when they should taper off

EXPECTED RESULT
The line should taper off

Hi,
Sorry about that. Here is the requested information.

Screenshot of the problem:
All the brushes featured in the enclosed screenshot should taper out as I
remove pressure on my draw pad, however they will not taper out no matter
how much I edit the brushes. The line will only end circularly or squarely
never tapering out as they are meant to.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

No, the driver version should be something like: '6.3.40-2' (so your number must be something else). Have you downloaded and installed the driver from the website: https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/product-support/drivers ?

If no, please download and install. If yes and it still doesn't work, please switch Krita to Windows Ink: https://docs.krita.org/en/contributors_manual/user_support.html#quick-solutions

Thanks for the help, I downloaded the driver from the website you provided
and it works! I had downloaded a driver from 'wacom.com/start/one'
originally (as instructed to on the product instructions) but it did not
work so I'm not sure what happened there.

Thanks again for your help!

Not sure what happened either - but the link there links to an older driver, and sometimes you just need to reinstall the driver to have it working correctly.

I'm marking it as Not A Bug since it was outside of Krita's control. Please if you have further issues with pressure or tablets, do not report a bug but ask for help on our user forum: krita-artists.org . Those types of issues are rarely Krita's fault and can be answered by experienced users and don't need to end up here on a bug tracker - and the forum is easier to use, too.

Hi, the pressure sensitivity has stopped working only in Krita. It works in
everything else apart from krita are there any settings within Krita that I
can check?

Thanks
