Created attachment 130316 [details] video showing the bug SUMMARY The global menubar widget does not seem to display the menu bars of gtk apps, unless "triggered" by an action on the desktop panel, such as opening and closing the Application Launcher. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure that the dependencies required to display GTK apps menu bars on the widget: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=238072 (don't install the Qt4 ones) 2. Add the global menu widget to existing panel or right-click > Add Panel > Application Menu Bar 3. Open a GTK app (gimp, inkscape, etc) and notice how the application's menu bar was not displayed on the widget OBSERVED RESULT GTK apps' menu bars were not displayed on the widget EXPECTED RESULT GTK apps should have displayed their menubars on the widget immediately after opening SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.72.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Kernel Version: 5.7.9-zen1-1-zen OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz Memory: 11.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 620 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
