Description Geteburg 2020-07-22 07:27:45 UTC
SUMMARY

Don't even know where to start here.

Before using standalone, all the config files where deleted. Found the paths in some docs.. Unless there are somewhere else too.. Anyway, here's a list.

1) Settings duration time for image clips to let's say 3 seconds. When image is added, its 3 seconds long. Resizing that image works only for a smaller duration. I can resize image clip to anything below 3 seconds. To resize image over 3 seconds, nothing happens. Dragging it is not possible, editing duration of the image clip does not work. I can type in 10 seconds but jumps back to 3.

2) Images in timeline preview and render come out as white screen.

3) Right clicking on timeline clip with right mouse button shows the submenu but at the same time it disappears. The only way for submenu to be shown in to hold the right mouse button.

4) We tried switching theme in kdenlive, does not help. In some there there are no icons or they are the same color as the panels..

She is using windows 10.

Anyone has any ideas as to what to do?
Comment 1 Geteburg 2020-07-23 16:33:48 UTC
She just sent me the project file and I'm using Linux Mint and while I have no such problems in my projects, opening her project results in the same white screen for all image clips.

If I delete an image from project and then re-add it to the project and timeline, it is shown normally. Using the same source files as she is. Source is not the problem.

This is image in her project which just looks wrong, like it's taking image as a video clip.

This looks like the comma/point issue. Please try with the windows daily build: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_mingw64/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/

WARNING: This version has a new project type that is not backwards compatible... so you won't be able to use older versions to open new files.
