Description ihasdapi 2020-07-20 23:54:08 UTC
SUMMARY

Poor scrolling performance on Konsole with NeoVim even on small files and with syntax off. Large CPU spikes. No similar problem observed on yakuake or other terminal emulators with the same neovim installation. (just coc.nvim and basic plugins) Pageup/Pagedown + Ctrl-U/Ctrl-D work fine. But some decent arrow key/hjkl scrolling performance is pretty important to a decent user experience.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open file
2. Scroll with arrow keys/hjkl

OBSERVED RESULT
Slow, choppy, and laggy scrolling

EXPECTED RESULT
Responsive, normal scrolling.
