Description Marco Martin 2020-07-20 10:05:09 UTC
in the commit
98b53a3667f2c5c95a6d57158385ef60b4fb1f88 of May 22
the string "Run Command" of the context menu, alongside several other references to krunner were changed to "Show KRunner" this is not ok as KRunner was never intended as an user facing product name, it's a terrible jargon and a name that's ok for a framework and the internal name for the system, but on that context menu and everywhere else user facing it should just be a descriprion of what it does, instead of a very confusing jargon word.

That's already released in 5.17 onwards.

Whilst I didn't necessarily like the change, a change now means a new set of user interruptions and relearning which is something I'm even more against.

Let's discuss this in one place rather than three, for the sake of our sanity. How about the task itself, which I see you re-opened.
