Sorry for the late reply, i've uploaded the layouts. I did not lock the the layout.
Comment 4 Michail Vourlakos 2020-07-21 05:34:17 UTC
1. Right click dock -> Layouts -> Manager Layouts. take a screenshot that window and upload it here
2. the widgets you are mentioning, are not widgets, this is the systray widget, if you add any other widget are its preferences saved?
3. how did you install Latte git version? arch package is outdated.

Comment 7 xhikari 2020-07-21 08:47:40 UTC
Just submited a new screenshot (editpanel), something peculiar after rebooting. if I right click and select edit panel, the systray widget is there but invisible, i can access the settings of the systray widget as well, but clicking "Always show all entries" doesn't show anything, and visibility on each item is set to "shown to relevant" (only other option is disabled) and still nothing appears until i add another systray widget.
Comment 8 xhikari 2020-07-21 08:55:12 UTC
Tried adding widgets separately such as volume control, networks, bluetooth, etc instead of adding the systray widget, those widgets are retained if i reboot.
Comment 9 Michail Vourlakos 2020-07-21 09:05:49 UTC
when you open the Layouts Editor, do you get a warning that your layout is broken?
Comment 10 Michail Vourlakos 2020-07-21 09:07:09 UTC
send me also your layout file to check it out... the systray invisibility issue might be Plasma 5.19.3 issue, to be fixed with 5.19.4

please test again with latest git version that includes https://invent.kde.org/plasma/latte-dock/commit/e92f168abe0377b325dd4116cd12d0ea663843bd and please report back if you still have the same issue.

Updated it and tested with a couple of reboots. System tray widget stays and also previously added system tray widgets reappeared. looks good so far. Will update if anything pops up. Thank you so much!
