SUMMARY Currently I have the desktop's "location" setting set to "desktop folder" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Right click on the background of the desktop 2. Go to "Configure Desktop", then to "Location" 3. Change the setting to "Custom folder" 4. Select my home folder 5. Click "Apply" and "Ok" OBSERVED RESULT Nothing changes, the desktop is still showing the contents of the desktop folder.
