SUMMARY
There is a issue with selecting items from the tray icon menus, when the dock is auto hiding itself. The issue can't be reproduced with every application, the worst ones are for me element (formerly known as riot), and discord. Where with element everything breaks and with discord only the bottom two menus can't be selected. Everything works fine, with tray icons like:
 media player
 kmix
 etc..
as these don't hide the dock.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (Element example (two days ago it was still known as riot)
1. install element desktop
2. run it
3. You should see a tray icon similar to the one seen in the attachement, when you right click it, while having your dock set to auto hide, you should get the expected behaviour.

OBSERVED RESULT
Can't select from the menu.

EXPECTED RESULT
You should be able to select from the menu.

Hello, thank you very much for reporting this issue. I am part of the KDE Bugsquad, not a maintainer. I can not reproduce this problem on my system, neither with X11 or Wayland. Does it still occur to you?
