SUMMARY Whenever I change the FPS setting of the project the software crashes. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start the programme 2. Follow the menu Project --> Project Settings 3. Choose HD 1080p 30fps (or HD 1080p 60fps) and click OK OBSERVED RESULT Kdenlive crashes EXPECTED RESULT Kdenlive to apply selected settings. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 8.1 macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt 5.14.1 (built against 5.14.1) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION As "show backgrund" option did not work with OpenGL Backend: DirextX(ANGLE) I changed it to OpenGL. Apart from this I use default settings.
As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. Please try with the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/)
I can confirm that bug is still here (kdenlive 20.12.2). I'm observing the same result: when I try to either change project resolution to 1080p 30/60fps or to create a new project with the same settings the program crashes. Default settings (1080p 25fps) seems to work correctly.

I uninstalled the old version, have installed the latest one and the bug still occurs. Whenever I try to change the FPS Kdenlive crashes.
