Up to now I have to download the output to search for text.

I would appreciate a feature which allows me to browse the konsole output buffer with the same functionality as the less command without leaving konsole.

This would well integrate into the read-only mode of the terminal.

you mean the already working `search` that konsole has for at least 10 years?
Menu -> Edit -> Find
