OK, so 5.18.5?

Separate versions work, but if you put several version on lines, it is considered as spam. I.e. replace those X with . and it is suddenly a spam.

2020-07-14 09:30:02|install|kwin5|5X19X3-1X1

(If you think of X as .)

I can confirm that the content you've supplied will be matched by the spam filter. Unfortunately due to what we're trying to match (phone numbers) there isn't too much more we can do.

The only workaround I can recommend at this time is attaching detailed logs (such as the install times and version numbers you've supplied here) as a text attachment.
Comment 8 Nicolás Alvarez 2020-07-16 14:34:44 UTC
I haven't seen that form of spam (fake tech support phone numbers) in a long time, and I doubt that's because our spam filters became perfect on all sites, most likely that particular attack stopped. Maybe we can disable this phone number filter and see what happens? If we get a single instance of that spam again we turn it back on.

Because or despite of the spam filter? If you checked the logs of messages marked as spam, and none was hitting this filter, I also suggest to disable it.

Unfortunately we don't log when the filter is hit, so we've no idea if it is still protecting us from phone spammers or not.

Same applies to the Wikis I believe.

I've hit this too when submitting KWin bugs with detailed logs. It's quite annoying. There surely must be something we can do here.
