Description Mark Medoff 2020-07-11 11:40:52 UTC
SUMMARY
Program crashes when security prices are manually entered.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select INVESTMENTS on left panel and then select any investment account.
2. Select any security
3. Enter a price and date.

OBSERVED RESULT
sometimes program immediately crashes after entering a single price and date for a security. Sometimes, I can enter a price and date for first security and it will crash when I finish entering a price and date for a second security. I am unable to save any prices and dates without causing the program to crash.

I do not have this issue with last 5.0.8 version

EXPECTED RESULT

Program should not crash and I should be able to continue entering additional prices and dates

Does this still happen with newer AppImage versions?

No. Newer AppImages do not crash when manually adding security prices.

a little more information about the problem:

I originally created my KMy$ files by importing data from Quicken. I had
some crashing problems when I first started using the program. At one
point, I examined my new files and found a bunch of unmatched currency and
security transactions created during the initial import. I deleted these
transactions and the crashing when manually entering prices ceased.
