SUMMARY Having a large number of programs in the list of favorites makes the menu organize it in a strange way. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add several programs to the list of favorites. Enough to fill the whole screen to the top (for my monitor, it took 19) 2. Now the icons are over the shutdown and reset buttons [1]. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Although the icons are on the buttons, it is still possible to use them without problem. Another detail of this bug is that when there is no more space on the screen, icons seem to be added beyond the edge of the screen/menu [2]. Yeah, this happens when there are a huge number of favorites.

Git commit b8fc07ab8074647e2541b7e5dac1dcbe6c7a9e46 by Christoph Wolk. Committed on 06/01/2026 at 14:15. Pushed by cwo into branch 'master'. applets/kicker: make favorite applications scrollable Kicker allows you to set many favorite applications, but it does not handle them well - at some point they will just overflow the screen and be completely inaccessible; much worse yet, the actual menu content may be pushed off-screen by excessive favorites. Instead, we make them behave more like runner columns: they keep their ability to grow the base representation but this is now capped at 80% of the screen height. If the list does not fit, the list becomes scrollable. The view scrolls automatically as items are selected with the keyboard.
