SUMMARY
I can't reproduce this issue consistently.
In the attached screen recording we can observe that free space available disappears from the status bar after I mount "WIN7" ntfs partition. The status bar shows free space available as expected again after Dolphin to be restarted.

EXPECTED RESULT
free space available sould not disappear from the status bar after we mount a partition.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.72.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2

This happens to me since Dolphin 20.08 without the need to mount anything.
The space information bar disappears from one specific tab (and not others) when a new file is "suddenly" added to the folder being shown in that tab, by, say, being moved there by another program, a download completing, etc.

When this happens, the right-click option is still checked, and the bar can be brought back just by unchecking that, and checking it again.

I can confirm this issue with Dolphin 20.08 on Manjaro.

Well, apparently this has been silently fixed in Mageia at some point during the last couple of weeks or so, either by a KF5 update, a Dolphin update to 20.08.1 (build with the updated KF5), the Qt 5.15.1 update, or something else...
