I can reproduce this issue with dolphin 20.04.3. dolphin 20.04.2 does not have this issue so maybe it is caused by 37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1? [1] [1] https://github.com/KDE/dolphin/commit/37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1
Seems like a kio_thumbnail issue.
Definitely not caused by https://github.com/KDE/dolphin/commit/37df39b93bf23b89ca760d4dd793788833d9a3e1. And interesting they are shown in the folder content preview and if you hover over them.
Can also confirm. Could also be a kiconloader issue.
Created attachment 139243 [details] Dolphin 21.04.2 The bug is still reproducible on Dolphin 21.04.2 with Plasma 5.22. To see the icon, I have to hover the pointer on the file.
Created attachment 141729 [details] new screenshot As we can see in the screenshot attached to this comment, icons are barely visible on neon unstable and Arch (Dolphin 21.08.1), not invisible. I think we can close this report.
