SUMMARY I've noticed recently that I'm unable to use tif images in KDEnlive anymore. I can import them, and they corretly show up in Project bin, with a thumbnail, but putting it on a timeline it's just white. In version 21.04.1 getting an error while trying to add a tiff file: Cannot get duration. No problem with png or jpg files.
Confirmed that this is still an issue on Kdenlive 21.12.3 (AppImage, Ubuntu 20.04.4).
Looks like TIFF images work properly in the 22.08.2 AppImage. If this doesn't work in another version it's probably a packaging issue, and we're working on better testing to catch these types of issues.
