SUMMARY
I want the painting off for the control bar, but it resets every time I reboot or restart the dock. It used to work before. Then I was just playing around with the painting a little and now I can't set it back.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Turn off painting
2. Restart latte

OBSERVED RESULT
Painting is turned on again

EXPECTED RESULT
It should stay turned off and save the setting

v0.9.x is not maintained any more. Do you have same issue with git version?

This problem only exists in the git version. In 0.9.1 it is gone.

Which painting option are you referring at, can you provide a screenshot?

My package manager wasn't installing the latest git version. This problem is gone in latest version. Solved.
