(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: kmail Version: 1.4.1 (using KDE 3.0.1 ) Severity: wishlist Installed from: compiled sources Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) OS: Linux (i586) release 2.4.12 OS/Compiler notes: Hi! It would be useful to have an import/export functionality for KMail filter rules. Advanced user could provide filter rules e.g. SPAM filters for users who don't have the knowledge ( e.g. don't know how to use regular expression) to create them. Furthermore it's easier to import filters from another user when you switch to another machine or a another user on the same machine. If you mean between KMail users: Just copy the [Filter #n] sections of your= =20 kmailrc over adjust the numbers and the [General]filters key in the target= =20 kmailrc and be done ;-) Also I vaguely remember that this is a duplicate.
