Hello, I wanted to add Okular to just-install (a Windows package installer) and got it accepted (https://github.com/just-install/registry/pull/202), but had to remove it (https://github.com/just-install/registry/pull/204) because I realized that the download URL isn't stable. If I set the URL to the installer artifact from latest build, the link will stop working when there will be a new job (that means next day) because the name of the installer artifact contains the build ID. I also can't point towards a specific build because only last 10 build artifacts are available, so the link will stop working after 10 days. Could you please provide a stable download URL for the Windows installer? Just-install accepts both links to a specific version and links to latest release.
That's not "the windows installer", that's "the nightly build of a windows okular version", it gets build on every commit, so it's not really "what we release" Christoph when you upload the binary to the Windows Store, do you put it somewhere else? Or is the Windows Store url accessible from the outside?
> Christoph when you upload the binary to the Windows Store, do you put it somewhere else? Or is the Windows Store url accessible from the outside? I normally only upload the needed appx variant to the store. Not sure if that is accessible via a stable url without the store. We can ask Hannah.
The store version is only available in the Store on Windows 10. We would need to upload the nsis installer to somewhere....
(In reply to Hannah von Reth from comment #3) > The store version is only available in the Store on Windows 10. > We would need to upload the nsis installer to somewhere.... I built upon this comment and filed bug 423755. In my opinion, it should be desirabe to have an Okular installer apart from the MS Store app.
Any news on this? There was a lot of activity in the first two days, but now I don't see much happening here.
Hello, Is there any news or progress on this? Two months have passed and I didn't see any activity here.
