Description Bernie Innocenti 2020-06-29 10:36:27 UTC
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Download any AppImage file to the Desktopp (example: https://www.x-plane.com/desktop/try-it/)
2. Double-click on the icon on the desktop

OBSERVED RESULT
Launches the file without asking for confirmation

EXPECTED RESULT
Should ask for confirmation before executing, like Dolphin does:

What do you wish to do with this executable file?

ADDITIONAL INFO

Furthermore, there's an extra one-time dialog in case the file has no execute permission. This dialog has a different visual design and does not have a checkbox for "Do not ask again".

Can confirm. Seems to affect all executables, not just AppImages.

This was fixed a while ago. Can confirm it's working now.
