Description Rachael Greig 2020-06-26 07:58:40 UTC
The current KDE Connect remote keyboard only supports English input. For example, Chinese input is not supported. Can we change the working mode of the remote keyboard to synchronize the text in the input box to support all languages?

Can you provide shortcut keys for remote keyboard to start, instead of only starting in the tray.

Thank you.

With KDE Connect 1.19.1 on Android (see also [1]), you can try using the "compose send" feature (the icon with a pencil), which is contributed by Forrest Hilton.

You can then switch to the desired keyboard and enter Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.. When you are ready, you can click the button to send the text to PC.
