SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. boot device (android or desktop) 2. attempt to exit/close/stop kdeconnect OBSERVED RESULT There is no way to exit the app from the app. You have to kill it with system tools. EXPECTED RESULT You should be able to close/exit from the app interface. Reasons: When not using persistent features you can save phone battery life, reduce needless network traffic, reduce `.xsession-errors` spam on desktop, or whatever other reason you would like to close it. I would prefer to run it only when needed. I see the need for it to be persistent for some of the features, and also convenience, but you should be able to close/exit if you want to. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 18.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.9 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0 Qt Version: 5.9.5 Android Version: 7.0 kdeconnect version (desktop): 1.3.3 kdeconnect version (android): 1.14.2

Perhaps adding a setting "do not start KDE Connect automatically" would be an easy option to implement?
