Description James Palmer 2020-06-23 22:04:52 UTC
SUMMARY
Konsole does not capture the Alt+h key combination in particular

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Konsole
2. Press Ctrl + V
3. Press Alt + H

OBSERVED RESULT
No input is registered, any other Alt key combination (Alt + j, k, l) is registered, but not Alt + H

EXPECTED RESULT
Shows the input ^[h

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I am able to set Alt+H in KDE shortcuts, and it works as expected. There are no shortcuts bound to Alt+H in Konsole, and if I set a shortcut for Alt+H in Konsole, nothing happens when I use it.

Hi James, thanks for the report, I can't reproduce this on konsole from git master. Are you able to please retest and confirm if this issue still exists for you.
Comment 2 James Palmer 2020-11-03 01:10:53 UTC
I have tried this one different systems which worked, I found that alt+h was bound to something in shortcuts though I'm not sure what exactly it was and it keeps rebinding itself every reboot. I found a workaround to create a custom shortcut that sends alt+h when you press alt+h which fixes the issue for now
