Description aniche 2020-06-22 18:36:21 UTC
Apologies if this is the wrong place / wrong product selection.

I am in Kubuntu 20.04, Plasma 5.18.5

I have switched to icon-only taskbar which looks more similar to the Windows setup i have used until very recently. I gather this is also the new default from Plasma 5.20. It would be really handy if frequently-accessed files could be pinned to their respective application's jumplist.

For example, right-click the Writer icon in taskbar, and there is a list of recent documents opened. if this list could have a little 'pin' icon on the right, and the ability to 'pin' these documents to the list which then appear in a further list above the recent documents within the menu (just like Windows 10 - sorry!!) i think that would be a very handy feature.

I am assuming that this isn't possible at present but many apologies if it is! I am totally new to Linux, chose KDE and very happy for now.
