SUMMARY When I right click on an icon in the apps tray (for let's say starting a private browsing page in Firefox) the menu will appear as expected but then the popup describing what the app is will show up so I can't click on what I want, so I move my mouse to let the popup disappear (without clicking anywhere) and then it makes the right click menu disappear. Bug occurs only in Wayland and doesn't happen if the popup is under the right click menu. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.1 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Kernel Version: 5.7.4-zen1-1-zen OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz Memory: 7,7 Gio de mémoire vive Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics 620 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also may I propose a fix for this problem ? (I have absolutely no programming skills so I just share my idea) One thing that could be done is if an app is right clicked and the menu showed up the popup would be disabled for the time the menu is opened.
Correcting (In reply to yuno-gasai from comment #0) > SUMMARY > > When I right click on an icon in the apps tray (for let's say starting a > private browsing page in Firefox) the menu will appear as expected but then > the popup describing what the app is will show up so I can't click on what I > want, so I move my mouse to let the popup disappear (without clicking > anywhere) and then it makes the right click menu disappear. The bug occurs when the popup is under the RClick menu but NOT when it appears over the menu PS: Sorry I didn't find if there was a "modify" button on my first message, if someone with moderating power passes by please add the correction in my first message and delete this one. Thanks.
