SUMMARY
Reference images disappear when using snapshot

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add reference images
2. Save a snapshot
3. Load the snapshot

OBSERVED RESULT
Every reference images disappear when the snapshot is loaded.

EXPECTED RESULT
Snapshot loads properly with reference images that were either opened during the snapshot saving or are opened when loading said snapshot.

I believe the cause of this bug is exactly the same as bug 420051 so im marking as duplicate.
