SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the text tool. Print a few characters 2. Open the fonts drop-down list and try to change the font face. 3. Do so until the fonts disappear OBSERVED RESULT After a few changes (1-2) font names disappear not only in Krita but throughout the system. This can revert back to normal after closing Krita and waiting for ~5min or restarting system. EXPECTED RESULT Normally working font selector. Like in version 4.2 for instance SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: 5.12.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Here's the video of what's happening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c9zYhnVfdu0&feature=youtu.be
Hey, you put the video private. If you want us to watch it, it'll need to be set to unlisted. The information from the bug report info screen would be super useful still!
My bad, sorry. Corrected that. Should be available now
Tried to examine the behavior of the Windows system font selector with other apps. It appears that Windows cannot handle some fonts properly. It does not identify them as broken or invalid - it just crashes the system fonts until reboot. Solved by deleting all fonts and restoring the default ones. Krita is innocent. It is the system.
