Description arman 2020-06-15 16:10:10 UTC
SUMMARY

Krusader does not show the pdf files in the internal viewer. It only shows as a text file, although the default viewer mode is set to generic mode.

I've just installed Ubuntu 20.04 (PopOs), then installed krusader and the latest stable okular, and was expecting to render pdf files in internal viewer krusader, like before. Okular and other pdf viewers work perfectly, but not internally in Krusader. Previously I was using Ubuntu 18.04 (PopOs) and pdfs were rendered with Krusader internally without any problem.

I just want to see the pdf files in the internal viewer like before, by any means, since it is very practical. Appreciate any help or a workaround if it is not a bug.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Perform "view" action on any pdf file

OBSERVED RESULT
Raw text context

EXPECTED RESULT

I'm not really sure if Dolphin uses the same system, but can you open the folder with the pdfs in Dolphin activating file preview? You should be able to see the first page.

Whether it works or not, you could uninstall and reinstall Okular, or downgrade and upgrade again too see if this solves the problem.
