Description Dan Meltzer 2020-06-14 02:08:12 UTC
SUMMARY
When sorting the conversations in the SMS ui, a conversation is considered to have had recent activity if the person in that conversation has communicated in a group message. This causes a number of "stale" conversations to show up at the top of the conversation list

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have Conversations of various ages with various people
2. Have a group message with same various people
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
When a contact sends a message to the group, their individual conversation thread is bumped to the top

EXPECTED RESULT
Individual Conversations should sort by the date in their original conversation

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.4
