SUMMARY
Reproducible on Wayland at least.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open system settings > window management > task switcher
2. under "Visualization", click on the button to preview the task switcher selected in the dropdown
3. close the preview of the task switcher by pressing ESC
4. close system settings

OBSERVED RESULT
system settings got stuck in memory and can not be reopened until it is manually killed

EXPECTED RESULT
system settings should be completely closed after the last step
