Hello, I'm coming from Windows 10 and I really miss these two features in KDE. These two features would be an efficient addition to the workflow. Of course there should be an option to disable the window suggestion. In general in my opinion the window snapping in KDE should get an overhaul. I recorded a demonstration video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDqk1wndCOU

This was discussed in https://phabricator.kde.org/T12702 and approved. No sense in having both open I suppose. Let's close that and keep this open.

This now exists as an extension: KWin Script "Snap Assist" by emvaized: https://store.kde.org/p/1875687.
This feature should be built into kde plasma by default instead of only being available as a separate plugin
