weather_tooltip

I'm not sure whether this is the right component, but I had to choose one.

SUMMARY

For example, add the weather applet (add a location too), open its settings and mark all four boxes of info (Temperature, Wind, Pressure, Humidity) to be included in the tooltip. See screenshot. Same issue in other applets like System load, Network usage, Clipboard (eg. try to copy the SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS section at the end of this report).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0

Please file one bug per applet, as this needs to be fixed individually for each one. Cannot reproduce with the weather applet, FWIW.
Comment 2 tgnff242 2020-06-10 17:35:54 UTC
I will file more bugs if this one about the weather applet can be reproduced. I tested it in a new user profile and was able to reproduce it. Just to be certain, did you check all the boxes to show in the tooltip?
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2020-06-10 17:39:31 UTC
Yep, all of them.
Comment 4 tgnff242 2020-06-10 19:47:24 UTC
I tried and was able to reproduce it on KDE Neon too with a live usb.
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2020-06-11 04:00:21 UTC
I believe you, I just can't make it happen myself, which makes it rather difficult to debug.
Comment 6 tgnff242 2022-02-10 04:02:57 UTC
As a note, this might only be happening when using BBC's service. And 5.24 is still affected.
Comment 7 tgnff242 2024-06-20 16:30:37 UTC
This had been fixed in Plasma 6.0.0.
