SUMMARY

Not able to use "Edit application" from right click menu from the search list. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the application launcher or application dashboard menu
2. Search for any app and right click on it
3. Click on "Edit application" from the popup menu.

OBSERVED RESULT

Nothing happens but that is not a problem with kmenuedit since it still launches and it also works if i just got to my app tab or recent and right click on them. The problem only happens for applications in the search results list.


EXPECTED RESULT

A window for editing the app should appear.

I can confirm the bug in Gentoo, with the exact same behaviour (only malfunctioning in search) on two different machines.

Confirmed, but only on the search view. It works in other views.

On my system only "Add to favorites", "Remove from favorites" and "Uninstall or manage addons" options from the context menu are working.
